Adding to Singapore’s magical atmosphere, Asia’s first Harry Potter Exhibition is now on display at the newly transfigured ArtScience Museum.

For a lifelong Potterhead, the experience is akin to a kid entering a candy store for the first time! Fans are guided through the entire Hogwartsian journey – starting with the Sorting Hat ceremony.

From there, they can repose in Hagrid’s Hut (on Hagrid’s couch), bandy exchanges with The Forbidden Forest’s mystical creatures, glide across The Great Hall in all its opulent glory or practice Quaffle-throwing skills at the mini Quidditch booth. Visitors itching for a taste of Hogwarts’ student life can also take a crash course in Herbology and harvest the notorious Mandrake!

Though the Ministry of Magic has banned photography, aspiring wizards can still snap up a piece of Hogwarts at the Diagon Alley-inspired merchandise store. With edible artifacts like Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans and customized wand replicas, fans will not be disappointed!

The Harry Potter Exhibition runs from June 2 til September 30, 2012 at Marina Bay Sands’ ArtScience Museum. Visit http://www.artsciencemuseum.com.sg/harrypotter/ for more details.
