Halloween technically falls on Wednesday, so all related events are being held this weekend. With a ton of options to choose from – and so little time – here are our top picks for a Halloween event if you haven’t booked yours yet:
Last House on Emily Hill
Here’s your chance to walk inside a creepy old colonial house – the oldest on Emily Hill – and meander through the dark hallways for a chilly time. Since it’s Halloween, head upstairs and enjoy haunting tunes and booze from Kult Kafé.
When: 27 October, Friday (7pm)
Where: Emily Hill
How much: $16.75
LuLu’s Carnival of the Absurd
This Halloween party is inspired by the absurd carnival world, where drag queens and burlesque dancers rule, where freaky ballerina dolls and menacing ringmasters grace the stage. Dress up in your most ridiculous outfits to blend in.
When: 28 October, Saturday (9pm)
Where: LuLu’s Lounge, Pan Pacific Hotel
How much: $30
If you’ve got the cash, book yourself on this 22-sail luxury tall ship berthed at SEA Aquarium for a 2-hour late night party. It’s a pirate ghost ship with tattered sails, ominous fog and plenty of interesting cocktails. As usual, dress up for the night!
When: 28 October, Saturday (11.30pm)
Where: SEA Aquarium, Resorts World Sentosa
How much: $165
This spooky party-on-wheels tour takes you to 4 night spots (free entry and first drink) while you booze on the bus along the way. The only requirement for entry is dressing Halloween-appropriate, and have an unhealthy penchant for drinking.

Where: Harry’s Clark Quay
How much: $45 ($60 at the door)
Take your date to Halloween Date, a Halloween-themed dark comedy play for adults (written by Chris Holland and Maria Alvarado), presented in stories that explore the macabre interactions between men and women. Come in costume and get a gift.
When: 28-29 October, Saturday-Sunday (2pm, 5pm, 8pm)
Where: Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity , Farrer Park
How much: Pay-as-you-wish
Solve the mystery of Yi Hui, a girl who died mysteriously in her school toilet. Set in school-themed horror house rooms littered with clues and hints, the first 75 participants who can solve the case each day will be rewarded with Cathay movie vouchers.

Where: Cathay Cineleisure Orchard
