What to expect from the Asian TV Awards

The glitzy Asian Television Awards (ATA) returns this year, celebrating the best in Asia Pacific’s television industry in this 22nd edition. Nominees will walk the red carpet, with a total of 18 awards to be presented at the “live” event that’s open to the public and broadcasted to over half a billion people across the Asia Pacific. The presentation, along with the post-party events, will be broadcasted in the 360 degree video format to give fans an even closer look at the action.

This year’s award ceremony will be a ticketed event hosted by Baki Zainal (Malaysia), Stephanie Carrington (Singapore) and Wang Li Huan (China).

The performance lineup includes Kim Jong-kook (South Korea) who’s best known as the host of “Running Man”, Taiwanese-Korean Mandopop singer Bii畢書盡, international electronic artist GG Magree, Joanna Dong (Singapore) who finished third in this year’s “Sing China”, and Vietnam’s latest boy group The Air.
