2018’s Pop Prince, Troye Sivan is following the release of his critically acclaimed second album, ‘Bloom‘, with his biggest headline Asia tour to date. Singapore is the fourth stop on the Asian leg of his Bloom Tour. He will perform at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre on May 3rd.
Although Troye Sivan started as a social media influencer based in Perth, Australia, he has cemented himself as an international star. His debut album ‘Blue Neighbourhood‘ told a heartfelt story, alluding to his firmest beliefs. It achieved critical acclaim and landed in the Billboard Top Ten with the singles ‘Wild‘ and ‘Youth‘. Early 2018 saw the release of his single ‘My My My!‘, which soon went platinum in Australia and entered the U.S. Top 100. Following this, Sivan released the singles ‘Bloom‘, after which his tour is named, and ‘Dance to This‘ featuring Ariana Grande.
Aside from singing, Sivan has also made a name for himself in the acting scene. At a young age, he portrayed a young Wolverine in 2009’s ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine‘. As a teen, he gained millions of subscribers on Youtube and became an inspirational influencer. Most recently, Sivan has displayed his acting talents in the 2018 film ‘Boy Erased‘, starring Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe.
