Distinguished and seasoned Welsh Rock band, FEEDER, will bring their sensational performance to Singapore!
With their whopping success over the years, Feeder is more than ready to come full circle and rock Singapore with their newest album – Tallulah – an evidence of their revitalised energy with its snappy, expertly produced, and utterly organic songs.
Formed in 1994, Feeder has released numerous studio albums, compilations, and singles to date. The ‘An Evening With Devin Townsend’ shows feature a selection of Townsend’s tracks from throughout his career, along with Q&A sessions where fans will be able to ask the Canadian musician questions about his career and new album ’Empath’.
Devin Garrett Townsend was the founder and member of metal band Strapping Young Lad from 1994 to 2007. He’s got extensive credits as a solo artist and has recently released a new album, Empath, at the end of March 2019.
Townsend’s solo albums, a mix of hard rock, progressive metal, ambient, and new-age, have featured a varying lineup of supporting musicians. His trademark production style features a heavily multitracked wall of sound, and his vocal delivery ranges from screaming to an opera-esque singing. His musical style is rooted in metal, and his albums are written to express different aspects of his personality.
“The time has come however for me to take the next step in my career, and when asked about how I would like to do so, I decided the first thing I would do was a very intimate run of shows that allows me to play my music stripped back to just me and a guitar”, he added.
