Maya Dance Theatre’s Diverse Abilities Dance Collective (DADC), which focuses on creating a co-existing space for dancers with diverse abilities with industry practitioners and disability arts practice, is back with an all-new digital dance production, SEEDS.
SEEDS presents new choreographies by local dancemakers co-created with persons with disability from Singapore and beyond, crafted in collaboration with choreographers of diverse abilities.
Six (6) dancers with disability from DADC and others from India, Indonesia, and Australia have been invited to be featured in the inaugural production of SEEDS. Teamed with choreographers, these dance artists together with their counterparts worked tireless for four (04) months to showcase their debut in SEEDS. The dance-makers worked with original music scores and compositions for this production.
