SGMUSO is back this year-end in partnership with SCAPE INVASION for their first co-organised festival, bare. The first of four presentations will be the first festival which utilises the new and revamped Ground Theatre space at SCAPE.
A minimalist themed event, it is focused on uncovering artists which meld the contemporary with analog and their bedroom made DIY sounds. Featuring Singapore’s Dream-Pop heroes Sobs as the festival’s headliners and label friends Bedchamber from Indonesia as their guest artist, the event boasts 5 unique acts; up and coming pop
trio, HE1ST, singer-songwriter and producer, Nigel Cheah, and indie-pop band ROYAL ESTATE.
Not only the festival proudly supports both local and regional music, it also supports local businesses in the area such as REBEL and Binjai Brew, who will be both there to feed and quench up the crowd with scrumptious sandwiches and freshly brewed beer.
The event will also be SGMUSO’s first collaboration with visual artist Nicholas Ong, wherein the event’s stage design is an entirely original piece created and curated by Nicholas for the event. An all-round raw sensorial experience, SCAPE INVASION and SGMUSO invites you to lay bare yourself in a night of captivating music.
