Mise en Place @ Dempsey Hill: Festival Playground
The beating heart of this year’s festival is Mise en Place @ Dempsey Hill — think of it as a food funfair meets design showcase. You’ll find exclusive experiences, stylish bites, and yes, the Asian debut of Zumbo Desserts by Aussie dessert wizard Adriano Zumbo (think Willy Wonka with better plating).
And just when you thought food and fashion don’t mix — Daniel Boey steps in. The iconic fashion showman is giving the festival a couture makeover, proving once and for all that hawker heritage and high fashion can share the same table.
What’s on the Menu? Storytelling, Science, and Street Vibes

You can’t talk about Singapore food without talking about hawker culture — and this year, Chinatown Complex Food Centre takes centre stage as the official Heritage Hawker Partner. With 226 stalls of pure old-school goodness, it’s a love letter to the craft, community and continuity that keeps our makan culture alive.
Under the theme “A Taste of Time,” the centrepiece will honour the unsung hawker heroes who’ve been feeding us for generations — and yes, you’ll be able to taste those stories, one plate at a time.
