For three nights consecutively, Clarke Quay Fountain Square was transformed into a fun carnival-like place for GAME ON! People were able to let go of their stress and worries (especially after school or work) and indulge in a variety of delicious food and play arcade games right in the heart of Clarke Quay from July 4th until the 6th from 6:30 to 11:30pm.

GAME ON! was also the perfect place to update Instagram feeds with their picture-perfect set up of a neon-lit background. Furthermore, admission was free! It would have definitely been an enjoyable way to de-stress after a long day.

The best way to de-stress is, of course, by eating! Food stalls were set up, selling food that you would normally find at carnivals or festivals. Level Up served a variety of American meat-based delights such as popcorn chicken, beef and chicken Ramly burgers with fries, and har cheong wings (wings with prawn sauce). Additionally, anyone who purchased food received a complimentary token to play the games. Pong also served snacks like nachos and chips.

Even the drinks at GAME ON! were unusual. There was a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks – Chupitos Shots Bar offered two alcoholic shots that were exclusive to this event only: Chendol Bomb and StrongAF. Chendol Bomb consists of Jim Beam White Bourbon, gula melaka, milk and coconut milk with chendol bits. StrongAF lives up to its name as it contains overproof rum, whisky and tequila. Ciders and other alcoholic beverages were also available at Level Up and Pong.

In terms of non-alcoholic drinks, Hey Tea served their signature tea, which is King Fone Cheezo tea. It was a really refreshing drink that was perfect for the tropical weather.

A range of games were available at GAME ON! such as classic and retro 90s arcade games, Bishibashi and UFO catchers. You could purchase tokens or get them for free with food and drinks purchases. Holey Moley also set up a mini golf course. Furthermore, Pong offered a digital beer pong experience, with prizes like dining voucher.

GAME ON! At the Quay was a night to remember. With so many games, food and drinks to choose from and a bustling atmosphere, there was never a boring moment!
