ROMP'15

An inception since 2008, ROMP is a youth sports carnival that hopes to engage at-risk youths through sports. Up to 1,000 youths joined in this year’s event to compete in sports such as basketball, football, tchoukball and pool as well as make up part of the volunteer team.

This year’s edition saw Singapore’s national under-23 football team conducting a soccer clinic for youths, as well as guest-of-honour Mr Sam Tan, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth gracing the event.

ROMP’15 comes just right after the SEA games as well as Youth Celebrate! on Youth Day (July 26) and was organized entirely of youth volunteers of W.A.D! Club, the youth arm of Harvest Care Centre, a local non-profit organization.
