You mean I’m getting paid a TON of money to do what?!

It’s the school holidays! Breaking out of libraries and study rooms and the painful cycle of studying means that we will be out in town café-hopping, shopping and… spending money… which we never seem to have enough of. #poorcollegestudentlife

So if you have already applied for a mundane internship or found yet another part-time job tutoring bratty kids or scooping ice cream, you might just want to withdraw your application as these three unbelievable summer internships – all happening this year – will definitely change your mind.

Days Inn Sun-ternship

Days Inn by Wyndham is giving one passionate travel photographer US$10,000 to take a month’s worth of photographs of the sun. Yes, US$10,000. To take photographs.

Aptly named the Sun-ternship, a lucky U.S. resident will be paid to travel across America to capture sun-inspired photos this summer and have his/her photos featured on Days Inn’s website and social channels. Selected photos will also be framed up to decorate Days Inn hotels in the U.S.. Other perks include the Wyndham Rewards Diamond status (which can earn the traveller free nights) and a letter of recommendation from the Executive Vice President of Wyndham Hotel Group.

All this and of course, and the opportunity to bask in the breathtaking Salt Lake City sunrise and the spectacular sunset at the Grand Canyon. Paid travels, beautiful scenery, a career boost and probably the best tan you’ll ever get — what more can you ask for?

(Entry deadline: 20 May. Sadly, it’s only open to US residents.)

WOW Air International digital travel guide

Calling out to all tech-savvy social media addicts above the age of 17: WOW Air International is looking for an intern to create their digital travel guide. In this 3-month internship, you will be paid US$12,000 (in addition to free travel, transportation and living expenses!) to explore 12 destinations selected by WOW Air International. Discover each city’s unique features and eventually create a digital travel guide to entice other travellers to experience the city’s food, nightlife and activities as well. WOW Air even allows you to bring along a friend on this adventure!

You will be required to vlog your experiences on Instagram stories, which should be second nature to you if you’re as addicted to Instagram as we all are. In fact, pretty much every young traveller, on an internship or not, would document their travels on Instagram. Only with WOW Air International, you are getting paid to do it.

(Entry deadline: 14 May. You and your bestie will be living in Iceland for 3 months)

Harley Davidson #FindYourFreedom internship

If you are a thrill-seeker with a knack for vlogging, Harley Davidson has the perfect internship opportunity for you. This Milwaukee-based motorcycle company is seeking eight applicants above 18 years old who are interested in a career in social media. You will be taught how to ride a Harley and then be sent off on an adventure with your Harley, all travel expenses compensated.

All you have to do is create content on the fly, and take beautiful photos and exciting videos of your travels with the motorcycle. And the best part? Your big, beautiful, metallic hunk of a travel buddy – which can cost more than a million dollars – will be yours to keep at the end of the 12-week internship!

(Entry deadline: 11 May. Open to recent college grads across the globe.)

I wouldn’t blame you if you had remained slack-jawed throughout the whole article. These internship opportunities are just too insanely good to be true. But sadly, all of them are based overseas and we Singaporeans will have to (ironically) travel first, before embarking on the travel internship journey.
